OLIVIER NJ, PhD

Level 3 British Cycling coach, working with individual riders as well as taking group sessions at Herne Hill Velodrome and other cycling venues. A long-standing VC Londres club coach and team manager, I also lead sessions at Islington CC, Track Nation CC and other clubs.

Next to the personal coaching and Herne Hill, experience includes coaching at Lee Valley VeloPark Olympic Velodrome across a range of sessions from beginners to advanced, including tandem , para sessions and SQTs. I have led BC track clusters and regional sessions as well as regional teams at School Games, Inter-Regional Track champs and at races in the UK and overseas. Also being a freelance Rouleur reporter, gives me an added insight into various facets of professional cycling.

MOJO has been taking on more individual athletes since Oscar (biog below) joined the GB U23 squad and now the French Olympic track squad preparing for Paris 2024. We offer a range of coaching options and are currently working with athletes ranging from U16 to Vets, targetting everything from local crits, regional races and track nationals to national road races, Gran Fondos and international events.

To us it’s not about level, what matters is working with riders who are committed to training and progressing. And having fun doing it! The ultimate goal for the rider-coach partnership is to give the athlete the tools and the mojo to take ownership of their own training.
